Select Garden Guide aims to be useful without pretending that every garden is alike. We explain what a claim means, distinguish general guidance from a reader's own conditions and correct errors when they come to light.

Accuracy and clarity

We check factual statements against appropriate reference material before publication and use plain language for garden terms. When a topic depends on climate, soil, plant variety or other conditions, we say so rather than turning one situation into a universal rule. We do not present professional, legal, financial or safety-critical advice.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Any paid, sponsored or partner material will be clearly labelled where it appears. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage, and editorial content is not written to disguise promotion as independent advice.

Corrections

If a reader spots a factual error or unclear passage, they can send the relevant page and details through Contact. We review specific, verifiable concerns and amend published material when warranted; significant corrections will be identified in the affected piece.

Images and illustrations

Some illustrations may be generated with AI. Where that applies, the illustration will be identified as AI-generated. Illustrations are not evidence of a plant's actual appearance or a garden outcome.
